ABOUT OUR PLATFORM

Democratizing Institutional Quantitative Option Analytics

Our mission is to build the fastest, most precise, 100% free client-side Black-Scholes option pricing engine for individual investors, quantitative analysts, and financial engineers worldwide.

⚡

0ms Client-Side Computation

All partial differential equations, normal distributions, and Greeks are computed directly in your web browser with zero server roundtrips or API latency.

🧮

Continuous Dividend Engine

Supports continuous dividend yields ($q$), fractional expiration horizons, and exact analytical derivatives for Delta, Gamma, Vega, Theta, and Rho.

🔍

Hybrid Root Finding

Reverse-engineers implied volatility using a Newton-Raphson solver with automatic Bisection fallback to guarantee 100% convergence down to 1e-6 precision.

Our Story & Methodology

Founded in 2026, Pricing-Options.com was developed to solve a common problem in online financial tools: slow server-side rendering, inaccurate approximations, and paywalled analytics. We built a continuous Black-Scholes-Merton partial differential equation engine using modern web assembly principles and high-precision polynomial approximations (Abramowitz & Stegun $|error| < 7.5 \times 10^-8$).

The Black-Scholes Mathematical Foundation

The core pricing engine solves the Black-Scholes continuous dividend partial differential equation:

∂V/∂t + ½ σ² S² (∂²V/∂S²) + (r - q) S (∂V/∂S) - r V = 0

Where $S$ is stock price, $K$ is strike price, $T$ is time in years, $r$ is interest rate, $q$ is dividend yield, and $\sigma$ is annualized volatility.
